| General Rules :
1) Have fun (No Rage Drama BM or Bullshit you will be Removed/Banned If there are Multiple Complaints about you)
2) To be added to the Ladder/Tournament post Jsp Name( Optional )/D2 Acct/Char Name- Type of Char
3) Allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #5 then you must duel Everybody to get to #1
4) You Must Pm the other party about the challenge FIRST then post challenge in this topic.
5) GM Melee Rules Apply to all Duels See Page 1 for Rules
6) Challenge will be best 2/3 sets First to Six Must Win each set by 2 Duels
7) You may Change Gear 1 time during a Set and 1 time between each Set
 If you Issued the Challenge Must wait 12 hours after Completion of Challenge to Issue another Challenge
9) If you lose a Challenge you must wait 48 Hours to Rechallenge the same Person
10) 3-Day Dodge Rule (Afk, No-reply, No-show = Auto-Loss) 2 Consecutive "Dodges" = Removed from Ladder
Rules:
When a member first joins the game game, the referee will state the following most common broken rules. These are:
1. No exiles are allowed to be used against non-zealot players, such as barbs etc.
2. No running.
3. You must say go at the same time and the go must still be up when contact is made.
4. If you miss click, the duel will still continue because it would be your own fault and it happens more often than anything else. Plus, it has been found that a small percentage of players do it on purpose in hopes of a re-duel fearing they are going to lose.
After the most common broken rules are stated, the referee will create the brackets. The referee creates the brackets by clicking the party screen button and bringing up a list of each member in the game. The referee will choose the top member to duel the member right below him and so on... The referee by default is always in the last bracket and duels last. This is how the brackets are formed.
The duels are commenced in a best of 10 kills win by 2 kills (first to 6 kills win by 2 kills) for the finals, and first to 6 kills for non-final games. Both players must say "Go" above their head using the ! command. This must be done at the same time and the "Go" must still be up before contact is made in a duel. Failure to do so will result in a re-duel. You are responsible for miss clicking. If you miss click, the duel will continue to resume. I have overruled this because it happens all the time and a very small percentage of players seem to do it on purpose in hopes of a re-duel when they slightly feel they are going to be killed and lose.
Depending on the number of players in the game, the duels may be done in single elimination, double elimination or may have a bye. Single elimination duels will only occur if there are 2, 4 or 8 players in the game. Double elimination duels will occur when there are 3 or 6 players in the game. Byes occur when there are 5 or 7 players in a game.
Single elimination dueling means that only one set of a best of 10 kills win by 2 kills (first to 6 kills win by 2 kills) are implemented. Double elimination dueling means that two sets of a of 10 kills win by 2 kills (first to 6 kills win by 2 kills) are implemented. Bye dueling means that an FFA (free-for-all) needs to first take place to find out who receives a free win. *Only because 5 or 7 players make the game uneven, this needs to be done.
In the end, there should only be one player remaining that had won the game. This player will be asked by the referee to go back to channel to wait until all games are finished. Each player that had won their game will be whispered by the person running the tournament the final game and password. This is where the top three winners of the tournament will be revealed.
The top three winners will then be placed into The House Of Legends tournament hall of fame.
Bad Manner (Code BM):
BM1. Do not commit acts of bad manner.
BM2. Do not buff.
BM3. Do not precast.
BM4. Do not use poison.
BM5. Do not use slow.
BM6. Do not enchant.
BM7. Do not smite.
BM8. Do not charge.
BM9. Do not jump.
BM10. Do not pot.
BM11. Do not run.
BM12. Do not whirlwind.
BM13. Do not knock back.
BM14. Do not use items that emit auras which affect player vs. player (PVP) and cause physical and/or elemental damage.
BM15. Do not emit the holy freeze aura.
BM16. Do not change gear more than once before dueling in any event. (Changing gear is allowed only once before every duel).
