Crafting in Diablo III, eh? Well, kind of. NPCs are going to be artisans who can do some crafting for you, as well as acting as vendors. They’re going to be characters you can – once you’ve discovered them – return to time and again, and they’ll develop and improve their skills as you bring them more interesting materials. Of course Blizzard don’t want to pull us too far away from killing beasts, meaning crafting is going to be sustained by salvaging the loot that will fall, so inevitably, from the pockets of your enemies. Anyway, go listen to Blizzard’s Jay Wilson explain how it works. It’s a huge aspect of the game that we’ve seen nothing of before. The slow hovering over menus in this trailer is quite at odds with the undead obliterations we’ve seen thus far, although it inevitable returns to that at the end of the footage, for a bit of gibby punctuation.

As u can see in the Picture - Vendors can add Sockets to your weapons.
To the Gems - You will find gemstones in five different versions - but there will be total of 14 versions.
To the Runes - Runes in Diablo 3 are very complex. There are Runes for everything. Runes for stats, weapons, dmg, skills, etc.

Btw, there are no Scrolls of Townportal anymore. But u wont need em, becuz - YAY! - you have „scrolls of wealth“.

They are a portable vendor - so you can sell your Items with this scrolls.

NO AUTO-PICK-UP for Diablo 3! Greater Chance to drop Rare Items.
GOLD! Our Nightmare in Diablo 2!
We all know that problem - there is many gold on the floor, any to pic it up it needs much time.
SO NOT IN DIABLO 3! There will be a Auto-Pick-Up System in Diablo 3, that automaticly picks up any gold in your few.
BUT! That system doesnt work for items, so u have to pick up them normaly.
